OMG, I am very much in tune with wedding season, engagement season, color & pattern trends, popular themes etc, all things trending weddings. Never in a million years, would I have thought I would dream of what accent color will compliment gold, champagne and whites the best (it’s navy blue by the way).

10 years in the photography industry and 8 years specifically devoted to weddings has cake, plus the cupid shuffle constantly on my mind. If you don’t get out and dance with your clients during a great song, you are missing out. Dancing during receptions with guests is the best, plus little hint (cough-cough), you get awesome close-up shots showing movement as you are moving along with everyone on the dance floor.

Getting awesome shots on the dance floor takes practice and sometimes just luck that you have a dancing crowd. However, knowing how to predict body movements and knowing where to position your camera makes all the difference. This style of learning is a tad difficult to achieve during one our bootcamp style workshops due to being in a staged setting. If dancing and live action shots are something you desire to learn, I highly recommend considering joining us as a ‘Wedding Crasher’ for on-the-job training during a real wedding.
